I finally saw <i>The Rhythm Section<\/i> in a used book store a few weeks ago and picked it up.<\/p>\n<p>It was kind of disappointing.  I didn&#8217;t think much of the writing, and the action was lackluster.  I didn&#8217;t sympathize with the main character, and since the book is a psychological study of her, that didn&#8217;t leave much to work with.  Alas.  I may still pick up another one if I see it, in the hopes that the first novel was mostly setup and that with the stage set, he can go more interesting places with the character.
