I communicate. I get the right information to the right people at the right time in the right way.

For a while now, when I was asked to describe myself in only a few words, I would say that I was a technologist, a naturalist, and a generalist. But when i sat down trying to find a unified identity to wrap up all these aspects of my geralist soul - i found that they all involved communication.

While I can frame myself appropriately for any of these roles - the meta-frame of "communication" helps provide a common thread to my networking, security, writing and photography. They are all either messages or methods to either communicate the message or to protect it.

My best shot at a one sentence brand for myself:

"Wes Carroll, creative sooooper genius: I'm awesome, and so are you!"

I wonder whether that makes any sense at all outside my head. Please let me know.

I appear to have become Dr. Tectonic, jovial mad scientist.

Can I use a tag cloud instead of a sentence? Because then I would add gamer, geek, gentleman, social butterfly, bear, and would-be writer.

Yeah, that covers most of what I'm about.
