Lego construction equipment

Posted on September 6, 2004 by Eric

A friend forwarded me this link to this woman who builds working construction equipment models out of lego. She actually implements fully motorized cranes and all-wheel steering and things like that. It’s spectacular. And kind of scary.

This latest piece from @matthewstoller lays out a compelling narrative on how the financialization and monopolization of the US economy since Reagan has turned the markets into a rigged casino benefiting capital asset owners, while weakening those that actually make stuff. twitter.com/gladstein/stat…

Don’t agree with @matthewstoller on all of his conclusions but his latest piece “The Cantillon Effect and Stock Market Crashes” covers some very important ground, IMO Matt’s stuff remains a must-read:https://t.co/IGG8Id2iGZ pic.twitter.com/8W0j4igDwS
